Currently, the hanging cable system is commonly used for power supply to crane trolleys.However, abroad, the chain cable system with central incoming line installation has been widely adopted to supply power to trolleys. This system is more adaptable to logistics handling equipment that operates at high speeds.
Composition of the Energy Chain Cable Power Supply System mainly consists of four parts:energy chains, cables (and pipelines), sliding troughs, and accessories for fastening at the ends.
1、Energy Chain
The energy chain is made of engineering plastics. lt is suitable for high-speed movement, with low noise, good wear resistance, is convenient to use, install and disassemble. Just like a chain the energy chain has a certain pitch. The internal space of its cross-section can be arbitrarily divided to accommodate cables or pipelines of different diameters. The applicable temperature range of the energy chain is from -40'c to +130'C.
2、Cables and Various Oil and Gas Pipelines
When the cables and pipelines are dragged by the energy chain, the cables and pipelines are bent evenly over their entire lengths, and they can be arranged in parallel or in layers, either up and down. lt only needs to ensure that the weight distribution in the allowable directions of the energy chain is balanced.
3、Sliding Troughs
The sliding trough plays a role in guiding and supporting the energy chain. lts length L is slightly longer than the running distance s. Half of it is equipped with sliding strips while the other half is not. The side plates of the sliding trough are made by bending galvanized steel sheets. The sliding strips can be made of plastic, aluminum alloy or steel, and they should be ensured to be straight.
4、End -fastening Accessories
Fixings should be provided at both ends of the energy chain. Both the joints of the Energy Chain and other parts need to be fixed. The fastening accessories include C-shaped groove seats,cable clamps, pipe clamps and fastening bolts, etc.
